Bottle
Cap Trivet:
This is a
great little pattern for threadies. Very easy and quick,
with a multitude of variations. You've probably seen the
"Bunch of Grapes" that have been around for years.
This one is a simple hexagon.
Cindy's
Simple Dishcloth: Try this quick dishcloth made from worsted
weight cotton yarn. Very simple, works up in no time.
Nylon
Dish Scrubbie: My
mother-in-law found these at a Home/Garden show a few years ago,
and I've decided these are the greatest thing for scrubbing dishes!
They're even safe for fine china!
Valentine Heart Pillow: I designed this pillow pattern to match the Valentine Hearts Afghan featured in the January/February 1998 issue of Quick and Easy Crochet. The matching afghan is featured on my crochet home page. View Afghan
Ripples
Squared:
(no photo yet) My
grandmother began this afghan. It's made from granny squares put
together in a somewhat traditional ripple pattern. If you like
grannies, and you like ripples, this is a great pattern for you!
Oh So
Simple Scarf: I've
used this design for a dozen years or more and have made scarves
for just about everyone our family, as well as most of our friends.
This pattern is very easy, and makes a great gift!
Opal's Motif: I found this neat little motif in the tons of crochet supplies my grandmother passed down to me a few years ago. She had dozens of them made, but couldn't recall what she was making or what happened to her pattern. Once I figured it out, I just couldn't resist sharing it!

Dale Earnhardt Afghan: Attention all Dale Earnhardt fans! Here's the afghan you've been asking for! A fitting tribute to the larger-than-life driver that stole our hearts in that black #3, this afghan is simply massive! I've tried to scale it down as much as possible, but any smaller and it will lose all the great detail. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader or PDF viewing software to download this pattern.
Black and Gold: Rusty Wallace Afghan: If you are considering attempting this afghan, I should warn you, this is not for the faint at heart. If you haven't worked with the afghan stitch and color changes, I suggest you take the tutorial on my main crochet page and start with one of the pillows. This afghan makes use of lots of bobbins, but the result is really worth it. Here's a simple graphic of what the finished afghan will look like.
